~~Nicole Richies Boho headbands and the Walking Dead~~The highlight of my week!

I really don’t watch Fashion Star but I did a double take when I saw Nicole Richie in this gorgeous headband.

I absolutely love this look paired with her multiple bracelets.  She just always seems glamorous but totally comfortable.  Her look is easy and affordable to pull off to.  You can easily find vintage dresses from the 1970’s at your local thrift store or  flowing dresses in Forever 21.

Moving on to the WALKING DEAD

Now Holy hell what the Walking Dead finale was AMAZING!!

Rick killed Shane and I couldn’t be happier but now it seems he’s losing it and becoming Shane-like.

 It’s no longer a democracy.  I feel his frustration.  He’s been trying to do the right thing to just be kicked in the butt over and over again.  I also hope Lori gets bitten soon.  I don’t understand what the writers are doing to her character.

We also finally find out everyones infected.  You can die a natural death and you will become a zombie!

 For me the epic part of the whole finale was literally the last few minutes when Andrea is stranded in the woods and she’s fighting for her life about to be a zombies midnight snack when a hooded figure with two chained zombies comes to her rescue.

Yeah, that image was imprinted in my head for about a day.  I can’t wait to see what these writers come up with next.

Im going to buy the comic book because I just can’t wait until October!

I know this is mostly a fashion blog but every once and while you’ll see a horror posting.  Its my favorite genre!

**Everything Blake Lively wears is perfect and I want to steal all of her clothes****

My cousin Saray is getting married on November second of this year which is also my birthday! I couldn’t be happier for her. My daughter is going to be a bridesmaid. She is a very excited 11 year old and she’ll be 12 by the wedding. Anyway, I want a very gorgeous, glamorous dress for this occasion.  I want a find the perfect dress and have my grandmother Alba who is a professional seamstress to make it for me.  I found some that I loved worn by Blake Lively.

So as of now these two dresses are the top contenders for my cousins wedding.  I love them, but I tend to love anything this girl wears.

I would wear this to an office all the time.  I love this look and its relatively simple. You don’t have to dress it up exactly this way.  You can make it more casual in order to suit your normal everyday life.

If I owned this blazer, I think I might wear it everyday.

Okay, so for now Im pretty much done with my rant about Blake Lively’s perfect wardrobe.  I will be sure to keep you updated on my new line of Lila Juliet headbands.  I’m working on them!

Fashion, Gossip Girl, California, NYC and Headbands!!

So its not a phase I love clothing, sewing and YES I still love Gossip Girl, where I sometimes get a litte inspiration. Lately, I’m loving Jenny and her new style. Who can forget that gorgeous green dress she designed for Elenors fashion show. 

 Ive lived in New York for all my 29 years and now Ive moved to the Mojave Desert in California. I was missing Chelsea in NYC, my friends, just everything. I was feeling down, until I took out my sewing machine and starting sewing again, Ive come up with new colors and styles for my vintage inspired headbands. I’ll be putting them up at my etsy site tonight!! You can see them in a feew hours at http://www.lilajuliet.etsy.com. My favorite is called Champagne Bubbles. Its made out of a cream colored fabric and features a champagne colored pendant. I LOVE IT!!  I also found a little article about weddings on a budget that included one of my headbands http://www.budgetdreamweddings.com/2127/d-is-for-diamond/ . Finding that article and sewing totally brightened up my day.
